Charles Komla Hegbor

 

Based in Ghana, Charles is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a holder of MSc Finance and a PFM Consultant with over 16 years’ experience, specialised in public procurement, public sector accounting, financial administration and audit, and monitoring and evaluation. He has worked in Belize, Benin, Burkina Faso, Eritrea, Ghana, Jamaica, Malawi, Namibia, Rwanda, Tanzania, The Gambia, Trinidad and Tobago, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Jordan, Iraq, Lesotho, and South Africa. Highlights of his career include PFM expert on the Ghana Danida Evaluation, Identification and Formulation mission of the Multi Donor Budget Support (MDBS) exit Programme (2013); PFM expert to formulate the EU funded Ghana Rule of Law, Accountability and Anticorruption Identification (2014); formulating thee EU PFM support programme for Ghana (2017); and preparing an Integrated Fiduciary Assessment for the World Bank to provide support for ministries, municipalities, departments and agencies in Ghana (2018). Charles is a PEFA expert and has successfully conducted 21 PEFA assessments: two "repeats" for Ghana, Tanzania, Rwanda, Iraq, Greater Amman Municipality - Jordan, The Gambia, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, Lesotho, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Palestine, Ethiopia (federal government plus 6 sub-national assessments), and Namibia
